Nicknamed 'The Pink City' due to the building being painted pink in 1876 as a symbol of hospitality. Today the majority of the building still hold their distinctive pink colour.

Hawa Mahal

More commonly named 'Palace of the Winds' is a building with five stories and was originally made for the royal ladies to observe the street activities without being seen.









Jantar Mantar

Also known as the 'observatory' it showcases an array of astronomical instruments from the 18th century.









Jal Mahal

The water palace stands in the middle of Man Sagar Lake and although visitors are not allowed to enter the palace you can get an amazing view from the water's edge. If you keep your eyes peeled you might even spot a turtle in the surrounding waters.





City Palace

This extravagant palace and its ground can take you around 3 hours to explore. From intricately decorated hallways to luscious gardens there is plenty to see. It's best to book tickets in advance to avoid the long queues.
